August 24, 1995, that’s the date when Windows95 codenamed “Chicago” was released. I still remember the days when we were fiddling with Windows 3.1. Windows 95 was a welcome change from the Win 3.1 edition which was released in 1992. Windows 95 was a major step for Microsoft, Windows 95 included support for 255-character mixed-case long filenames and 32-bit applications. It also introduced the Plug n Play concept.
