We were quite busy during the EID holidays; so we had kept the visit to Saso Lounge as the last item before work resumed. Saturday afternoon, I called up and reserved a table for 2. We had told them that we would be there by 2.15pm, we reached there on IST(indian standard time), which is 5 minutes late.
They had reserved the corner table for us. The restaurant was not crowded as it was an odd time. Only a couple of tables were taken. Sherwin, took charge and made sure that we were comfortable. We started with the appetizers, Buffalo Lollipops & Prawns with Plum Sauce and for drinks we ordered Electric Blue and Bosco. It was a great start, the prawns where just amazing. We took our sweet time, and slowly we ordered the main course, Manzo Sloppy Joe and Shrimp n Hammour. Sherwin told us that it takes approx 15 minutes for the order. Both the dishes were awesome, but if I get to choose one again, it would be the Shrimp n Hammour, it was too good. Seriously there is something about the taste, all the dishes have a unique touch, a “Saso Touch”. We were really full and we couldn’t take it anymore. Still we didn’t reach the 20KD limit, we ordered lasagna as take away. Sherwin came and asked us whether we would like to be served some sodas, the reason; he wanted to make sure that we hit the 20KD mark. Our tummy couldn’t take a bit more. By this time, all the guest had left and we had Saso all for ourselves. I had a good time clicking and I could click part of the Saso team, who happily posed for the snap. It was the shift break, so many had left. Below you can find the pictures of our Saso expedition:

They have two branches, one in Kuwait City and the other in Abu Halifa. We went to the City branch which is opposite to the Dasman Complex. You can visit http://www.saso-lounge.com for their menu and other details. They do have home delivery as well.
Verdict: Highly recommended.
Suggestions: They could have dark glasses for privacy. Now people can see the interiors from outside, which sometimes can make people unhappy, especially while having food.
We wish Saso all the success and we really enjoyed their wonderful hospitality. We would like to thank MARK for his giveaway idea as well. Saso is one place you should definitely try out.
