As part of exploring Kuwait, we drove by the streets of Rumaithiya, which is just a drive across the Fifth Ring signal from Salmiya.

The roads are very wide and the whole area is very airy unlike Salmiya. You can see a lot of greenery around. This place has a lot of government arabic schools around. There is a Kuwait Flour Mills Factory too.

The Rumaithiya Co-operative is also worth a visit. During it’s hey days it was an excellent place with a large variety of fruits and frozen food stuff.

Rumaithiya is part of the Hawalli Governorate. It is largely a Kuwaiti residential suburb.
